This past weekend the five of us went on our first family vacation (since Will was born) to the beach. While it was a short trip, we all really enjoyed ourselves. Friday evening we enjoyed dinner at Captain Anderson's. We are always a little anxious when taking both kids to dinner, but they behaved like angels. Earlier in the day, Caroline learned how to jump to the moon while watching the Doodlebops. During our wait, she thought she would teach her brother how to do it, and he absolutely loved it. He laughed and laughed, and everyone in the restaurant was captivated by his cute little cackle. After dinner, Caroline couldn't wait to see the beach, so we made a quick little trip down to get our toes in the sand.
On Saturday, we went swimming, dug in the sand, picked up seashells and walked on the beach. Caroline especially loved burying her legs under the sand, while Will went for his first splash in the pool. Caroline and Will were both so pooped that getting them to bed was a breeze. Sunday morning, we went back to the beach and pool before heading back home to Dothan that afternoon. By the way, I'm not pregnant....the fifth member of our family who made the beach trip was Reese....Caroline made sure that Reese got to go to the beach too!

You will have to keep up your blog even though you are heading to Mississippi. Granger and Zetta Grace will want to continue seeing Caroline and Will. We are sad to see y'all leave Dothan but are so thrilled for you to be closer to family. We will just have to meet at the beach or have you up to Charlotte. Good luck and keep me posted. Brandi
